Welcome to Paul Latiolais' trip to Tevis in July 2008
The Western States Trail Ride-The Tevis Cup -is said to be the toughest trail ride in the
western states; on the average, only half of those starting  get to complete. Every year,
hundreds of riders via for the "honor" to attempt the Tevis, but due to the nature of the ride,
the number of riders is limited. In July of 2008, Paul gets his chance to ride the Tevis Cup
and become one of the west coasts'  few to take on the challenge of the trail with a gaited
equine partner, a Paso Fino named Lucero Reedo De Rioto-aka Pete.
Check back often to follow Paul as he prepares for  the Tevis.
